             Origin: Japanese
             Age: 18th century Edo Period
             Material: Wood with thin lacquear and
                            covered in a time-caked smoke reside.
             Size: 17" height. Base 11" x 11 1/2"

             Japanese God of Wealth, Prosperity and Patron Deity of              Agriculture. One of the seven Lucky Gods, Daikoku is              traditionally displayed in the kitchen to protect the home and              insure a bountiful harvest.
