Mitsukuni Defying the Skeleton Specter

Age: Hachi Publisher's Meiji era reprint - This triptych is one of the great Kuniyoshi designs pubished by the Edo era publisher Hachi. The Edo era original is virtually non-existent in the market. In 1910 Hachi printed a second edition of the triptych in a very small quantity. This Meiji second edition is also exceedingly rare.
